  2. Yes you can still burn it fine either by using something like WinISO to extract the contents into a folder then burn normally or what i would do if i were you,Download a free trial of CD-Mate from here

    http://www.cd-mate.com/downloads.php

This will allow you to directly burn the Bin File without the need for a cue,So simply install it then choose the burn image option find your Bin and click on it and select burn and that's it then when finished you can delete it.

Or you could use note pad and make your own cue file

    FILE "image-name.BIN" BINARY
    TRACK 01 MODE1/2352
    INDEX 01 00:00:00

just remove the quotation marks and enter the name of your bin file, it should work with most image burning software

You are correct, if the cue file is incorrect your burning software should reject the cue, and will not continue(you won't end up with a coaster), just make sure the image name is exactly the same in the cue file, as on the bin file.

  9. You should not burn a CUE/BIN image without using the cuesheet.

Similarly, extracting files from the BIN file may not be the best idea as if the original image contained chapters, etc., you will lose that degree of interactivity.

Also, simply "guessing" a CUE file is not the most appropriate method either (for example, what if the BIN image actually contained multiple tracks?)

To overcome this problem of BIN files without cuesheets (or damaged cuesheets) of S/VCDs, I wrote a tool that regenerates the cuesheet from just the bin file. It is one of the tools available in GNU VCDImager Tools GUI available here: http://www.michaeltam.com/vcdimager_tools_gui.html

    That's pretty good !
Now, can you generate a .bin from a .cue ?
