  1. According to the Adobe website, Encore is now finally released. Has anyone tried it yet?

    i have version encore 1.0.0.35761

    supports dolby, ac3 etc, has trancoding functions , timeline, button factory
    motion menus.
    no problems so far

  6. Encore 1.0.0.35761 is a pretty early beta copy. Can you say Warez?
    I tried a beta copy at work (probably also warez) and was seriously underwhelmed at what I saw. Basically I thought it sucked. I would have to spend more time with it but I did not like what I saw. Most Adobe apps are crap in their first versions anyway. Take a look at Adobe LiveMotion 1.0 for a good example. (Answer to FlashMX studio? Yea right) and version 2.0 is not much better. Same goes for Indesign 1.0 etc. etc.

  7. A local ruffian showed me the beta on his PC and it looks horrid.

    I agree with Skynet, the interface on that beta makes me look forward to Judgment Day.
