  1. I have just recently purchased an Archos AV 340 and thought these links may help if you are looking at this product.

What a fantastic device and such a no brain-er when it comes to converting all your DVD or Video to Divx files and storing them on the AV340 or dropping them on to your hard drive or what ever.

No problems with audio sync when recording great picture on the device , simple as plugging in the AV leads and it encodes to divx in real time.

There have been a few comments on the forum ,also some other sites on the web that give a great overview of this product.

One such site with links and info for the AV 340 is here

I have been “snooping” around this forum for some time and I guess like most of us trying all the latest programs that come up for review and installing them and using them once or twice only to be enticed by the latest and greatest program that is listed on the forum.

What is real handy is that you can set up to 5 timer recordings so you can synchronize your satellite decoder DVD play or video input to record programs while you are getting your beauty sleep.

Here are some links to reviews and more info on what this product can do.

There is of course the steep price to pay if you want to have the latest gadget however in this case I thouught it was worth the $
