  1. According to both DVDRHELP.COM and the DVVPlusRW site (http://www.dvdplusrw.org/resources/compatibilitylist_dvdvideo.html) my Panasonic CV51 is DVD+R/RW compatible. So, why did my CV51 play two DVD+R discs flawlessly and then when I tried playing one of them again I got a "cannot read" error from the player? I tried another DVD+R that I hadn't played yet and got the same error message. And I had great hope to get a A06 burner. THANKS!!

  2. I solved the problem. I spritzed the disc with some LensCrafters lens cleaners and wiped it clean with a 100% cotton rag (perpindicular to the tracks, of course). Voila! They play. I guess keeping the discs clean is imperative.
