I've been attempting to capture Tivo recorded material utilizing a Canopus ADVC 100 and Ulead DVD MovieFactory. I've played with the Canopus device using VHS inputs and several software packages and have never seen a single dropped frame.
When attempting to create MPEG II DVD file with Movie Factory, everything appears to go well... except. When I play back the finished product there are brief lapses in the material (dropped frames I presume).
Does anyone know if this is unique to Tivo sources?
Thanks,
