  1. I've got some MPEG files that i recorded on my computer from my tv tuner, when i play them they are fine but when i open them in virtual dub the sound is out of sync with the video. is there a better free mpeg editor?

VideoRedoPlus would fix your problems but, it is not free. However, it is excellent at what it does.

    Hi

If your using Linux give DVBCUT a try . I have used it to edit my MPEG, VRO and VOB files, then used the resulting mpeg files to make DVD's

  5. if video editing is your hobby and considering to spend some $$ (to support author keep running the show) for commercial native mpeg editor,
i would rather suggest VideoReDo for long run.
    More info : https://www.videohelp.com/tools/VideoReDo
because in certain cases, virtualdub crashes.

Count me in on Videoredo. It's well worth the price and one of the only pay programs that I recommend.
