The scene:
P3 1Ghz
256 ram
30 GB HDD (9GB full)
RealPlayer Plus (Retail)
This annoys me very muchly:
If it's encoded at 30fps, WHY is it only playing at half the speed?
Ditto with a smaller rm clip.
Annoyed at this, I used Tinra to convert it to an avi (9MB --> 1.7GB), used VirtualDUB to compress & synch it... and I got an avi encoded at a frame rate half of what it was originally encoded at as an rm.
If the original rm clip is encoded at 30fps, why does both Tinra & VirtualDub turn it into an avi of (approx.) 15fps?

There was posts in the conversion section of this forum on how to convert rm files to mpg if that helps, the program name is Tinra and I believe it is a command line program.
