  1. I think this is the correct Forum...

    I am having trouble finding an article on how to sucessfully convert a VHS video to a DVD-R. If someone could help me with capturing the Video to a format that I can burn it to a DVD.

    I've tried capturing with Wincoder using thier DVD profile but it basically captures it like an SVCD with 720x480 resolution. Audio is 41KHz. I could then use TMPGenc to make the .m2v and mp2 files but then what do I do? Besides, there must be a way to take it from the VHS to an AVI or MPEG2 that can be authored.

    Nero

    Try reading the guides at the left side, there are all sorts of guides covering this, I learned how to do from the guides and my knowledge of computers hardware and software.
