  1. Forgive me if this is in the wrong section.

When I try to run TMPGEnc Plus, I get a popup window with the following message:

Write error occurred at address 77F83AED of module 'ntdll.dll' with 00000000.

Any ideas how to fix this??

Are you converting from an avi? Did you scan it for errors?

  4. Can anybody help with this problem?

I also get the same error, but only when I try to encode XVID AVIs. Even those that I have captured myself result in the same error when I try to encode them to MPG.

have you tried seperating audio and video using Vdub, and have you changed the priorities in TMPGenc? both things are covered in the guides, in the problems section.

Thanks very much, will give it a go ....this one is a mystery at the moment..i can usually fix the bad frames no problem, but this is x-files at its best!

  9. I've tried both separating audio/video, and changing the priority settings. The same error still pops up, but from separating the audio & video I'm now sure the problem is with the video and not the audio.

The only solution I can think of is saving the video through VirtualDub with uncompressed frames, it's just that my computer doesn't have enough space for the whole movie uncompressed.

    Any other ideas?

use the lossless huffyuv codec if you're doing that. cuts down the output data a fair bit.
