I've got a grundig Xenardo GCP5100 DVD player which is wonderfull.
But last week when I came home the display was dark en a red light was flashing and a click can be heard. The situation stays the same when I remove the player from the mains
I know something about electronics and I've opened they player. All voltages are available and nothing seems wrong. I think the player has gone in a sort of protection mode.
Does anybody know how to reset the program? So that the player can be reinitialized?

Thats a well known problem! The problem is the power supply. The only way to fix this is to send it to Grundig or give it a reseller.
