I know I'm not supposed to post in more than one forum, but this is
a continuation of a problem I started in "authoring" (and titled the
subject according to that problem), have resolved that problem with
the help of the fine folks here, and now I have what I think is a
primarily "conversion" problem. Here it is:
I edit a sequence on my PC using my Canopus DVREX professional
non-linear editing system. It's footage that was originally imported via
the analog component inputs. I then edit my complete sequence and
export the timeline as an AVI.
I then bring the AVI into DVD Movie Factory 2 SE, create menu's
and burn the DVD.
When I pop the completed DVD into my standalone DVD player and
watch it on the TV, I get "staggering"/blurring on all "motion" shots.
When playing the same DVD on my PC's drive, I see "combing" or
horizonal lines in exactly the same spots that I see the "staggering"
on the TV.
So far I've:
- Changed the field dominance settings in DVDMF2 to NONE, UPPER and LOWER (in other words I tried all three settings and burned three different
discs), but the problem with the staggering persists;
- Raised the Quality to Maximum;
- Tried both drop frame and non-drop frame settings;
- Tried interlace and non-interlace settings;
- Tried automatic motion control;
Nothing has worked.
HELP! Any assistance would be appreciated!
