    I was succesful at converting some home movies from my camera to VCD format. I am able to view them on my DVD Player but the playback is very choppy. Sometimes it doesn't even read the CDRW and I have to try several times.

    What would be the cause of this? could it be the type of CDRW I am using?

    Go to http://www.vcdhelp.com/dvdplayers.php and put your DVD Player Unit Model on "search player" and verify what brand CD-R or CD-RW plays fine in it.
