How to copy menus?

Hi all

I'm authoring a DVD with IfoEdit because I wanted to include spanish subtities in LOTR extended Z1. I selected the video, audio and subtitles to created a DVD.

What I want is to keep the original structure but include another subtitle, don't know if IfoEdit can do it or I neer another program

Not the extended version Z1 ( NTSC). The Z2 has spanish audio and subtitles, but it's PAL

There is no Z4 (SouthAmerica) release for the extended version.

By include another language you mean you want to ADD a NEW subtitle stream to DVD? Or do you mean you want to retain ONLY one subtitle stream.

I can tell you how to do either (the latter is easier than the former thou )

Looks like he wants to rip a subtitle stream from the Zone2 release and splice it into the Zone1 release.

What I'm doing now is to demux audio & video with VobEdit, and mux them including the spanish .sup ( not in R1) with IfoEdit.

In this process I lose the menus, just a movie backup

Ok, so you want to create a new DVD with the Spanish subs but retain the original menu. You can do that BUT REMEMBER that the original menu DID NOT have an option to select spanish subtitles. That means that even if you retain the original menu it won't work/look right.

You can enable the subs manually with your remote (easy). Once you re-author the necessary VTS you can re-intergrate it into the source VOBs with IFOUpdate.

OR you have to edit the original menu to include the option to select spanish subs. Now that's a much bigger project You have two choices replace an existing subtitle stream with the spanish stream and let the menu have the wrong name. Re-generate the menu and edit to have the option to select spanish subs.
