first off, major, you've done a fine job on this program!!!
i have a captured QT mov that i'm trying to get into m2v.... the QT mov plays fine with the audio / video in perfect sync.
after running it through ffmpg to create the m2v, the audio and video start at the same time but, about 4 seconds in the film, the audio jumps about 3 seconds ahead and stays that way for the duration on the mov.
looking at the times of the audio and video in the Finder, the audio file duration is 3 seconds shorter than the video file. the time difference can also be verified in Final Cut Pro.
in ffmpg, i selected the hi quality preset, de-interlace, QT decode....
ffmpg is the fastest encoder and i would prefer to use it over FCP (8 hours to encode vs. 30 hours just to render in FCP)
any guidence is greatly appreciated.
