I have some mpg's that I want to put on a VCD. Do I have to convert them to a special VCD mpeg or something?
Thanks

If it's MPEG1 encoded and it's framerate is 23.976, 25, or 29.97 with a resolution that can be divided by 16, it "should" work.
If it's MPEG2 then SVCD.
The problem is a lot of d/loaded mpg files are poorly encoding, made at odd framerates and/or resolutions. Sort of like DivX, it's all about the settings used. It seems like a lot of MPG I d/load are: MPEG1 320x240 @ 25 or 29.97fps, and work fine.
