  2. I have had this problem with cheaper media. What brand disc are you using for your backups?

  3. 4x Datawrite disks (Datesafe media)

Can it break the dvd player? and what should i do to resolve the problem?

  4. Make sure you don't put label on the disks. The placement of the labels (especially on VCD/SVCD) disks can cause balance problams and YES the spindle vibration will eventually cause problems.

I returned 2 APEX DVD players for the same problem. They vibrated even with commercial pressed DVD's.

quality Japanese product would be from Pioneer.

Sony DVD players have notorious format compatibility problems....lots don't play SVCDs...but some have been able to use VCD header trick to play SVCDs...but that takes extra work that shouldn't be needed in the first place.
