    During the video encoding pass, DVD2SVCD craches in winXP, i use

    Athlon XP 2000+
    512 Ram

    Encoder Cinema Craft Encoder V 2.66
    DVD2SVCD 1.13 B2

    Nimo Codec Pack 5

    Anyone have tips?

    Since you have an athalon did you remember to check the ResampleAudio command as shown here:
