HI ALL MANY THANKS TO THOSE WHO HAVE HELPED ME IN THE PAST BUT YET AGAIN I HAVE ANOTHER DELIMA WHENEVER I HAVE EITHER A DVD OR CD IN MY DRIVE IT WONT LET ME EXPLORE THE CONTENTS OF THE CD/DVD I HAVE THE LASTEST FIRMWARE FOR DRIVE BUT STILL NOTHING INSTEAD IT BRINGS UP A DESKTOP BROWSER WITH THE ITEMS ON MY DESKTOP IT SAYS THE NAME ON THE DRIVE BUT I CANT GET INTO PLEASE HELP IM GOING MENATL TRYING TO ACCESS CD'S

You do not need to 'capitalize' your letters when you start a thread. You need to explain a little bit more about yoru situation. Is this a new cd/dvd-rom/rw drive? If so, did you try reinstalling any software that came with it?

Do you go to "my computer" then right click on the pioneer drive and select open?. I have just got this drive and found I had to do this with the software which came with it as it would autostart and try to reinstall all the programs.
