i just installed the leadtek 2000 delux and I have tried capturing with virtual vcr and studio 8. Both have audio sync problems after several minutes. My drives are completly defragged and I am caping in 720x480 in uncompressed avi. I have the latest drivers too. I use to use the Tv Wonder and had to sync problems with that.

Have you tried a test capturing in a slightly smaller size,& see if you get the same sort of lag/sync. Is the capture drive/partition empty?

I used Leadtek Winfast TV 2000XP Deluxe for a while and found no authoring program that would keep the MPEG2 capture files in sync without rencoding. You can capture using avi with huffey codec (configured properly) and rencode with TMPGEnc Plus or Ulead Movie Factory and get good results. Also I think (haven't tried it yet) the new TMPGEnc Plus that has it's own mpeg2 decoder would probably rencode your mpeg2 captures and keep them in sync. ................... harrymj3
