I am trying to make an episode dvd to dvd+r by removing some of the episodes, and removing the opening and endings(which are always the same), but keeping everything else in the original vob files without re-encoding the files (no quality loss, keeps all languages, keeps subtitles).
I have a working directory that plays correctly with windvd's play directory as dvd. I also modified the menu buttons to remove the unused features, so far so good when playing it.
only 3 things left to go:
1) remove the chapter points from the episodes (I think I can figure this one out myself, i want the next to be the next episode, not halfway through the current one)
2) edit the menu picture so only the valid options are displayed (I already modified the picture, but I don't know how to get it back into the vob file)
3) modify the subpicture. (Just being picky, but I want to add more info by adding some episode information into the subpicture)
I am not sure this is going to work, so I will be picking up a dvd+rw tomorrow so don't waste any dvd disks.
I think can find the info for 1), but I am at a loss for 2) and 3).
I have been looking for a guide ot cover this, but I havn't found one yet. any ideas or links would be apprciated.
