  1. I borrowed some cartoon christmas dvd's from someone and i am gonna be encoding them for the kids and i will be doing them for the next couple weeks or so and they range from 60 minutes to 70 minutes and i wanna put them each on single disc im gonna be doing DVD2SVCD conversions and i was wondering whats the best way to encode 60-70 min cartoons to fit on 1 disc

Here is a couple of the titles in case that helps someone help me

Frosty The Snowman & Frosty Returns both on 1 dvd = 70 Minutes
    Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer = 65 Minutes
Winnie the Pooh: A Very Merry Pooh Year = 65 Minutes

They are all Fullscreen by the way

  2. Borrowing someone else's DVD's and running off copies for yourself is called piracy, and thus not supported or condoned in these forums.

  3. I am going to add to that since I purchased the DVD's in question. This will also detour you from supporting piracy. The older cartoons will look like crap when you do your conversion even at higher bit rate settings. It will be impossible to get a movie onto one CD for playing on a dvd player without it looking pretty bad (unless you have a very small TV)

that said, instead of supporting piracy, maybe go out and buy the dvd's. You can get them pretty cheap on ebay.

  4. Copying a DVD that you don't own is still considered piracy and we ask that you don't discuss it on this forum.
