Hi,
I have captured my DV video with Adobe Premiere 6.0 and wound up with an .avi file.
Then I ran that through Main Concept (I can also use TMPGEnc) to get the Mpg file, which plays fine in Power DVD.
How can I burn this mpg to a dvd-r? I use RecordNow DX with Sony DRU500AX.
Do I need to create a VIDEO_TS folder with VTS files and IFO's like DVD2one and Dvdshrink do in order to burn it?
I don’t want any lose of quality in the video.
Thanks for any help.

Use a dvd authoring tool

Ulead DVD Moviefactory, Neodvd and Tmpgenc DVD author are very easy tools but with limited features, only basic menus. If you want to create advanced menus and similiar try dvd-lab. If you have encoded to standard dvd mpeg they should not reencode the video, only author(make menus and the dvd file structure, vob and ifo files). -
YES YOU NEED THE AUTHORING APPLICATION
this is what you're missing
From the simplist Authoring (Ifoedit, Ulead DVD Workshop)
to the flexible (TMPGDVD author, DVD LAb, DVD Architect)
to the best (Scenerist, Maestro, Creator)
