Is there a way to save my menu design as a template? I'll be making a series of DVDs and it would be great if I didn't have to redesign the menu each time.

  2. BonnieW88,
I'm not an expert on Movie Factory, but no one else was replying (and I like your avatar!)
Since the menu is based on the mpg files that are imported, I don't think you can just save the menu as a template, I think you have to save the whole project (.dwz file or something like that?)

Where's Specialist when you need him?

  3. Hi Bonnie,

I have noted that one can advance to the menu-creation step in Ulead DVD MovieFactory 2 and then click on the MENU TEMPLATE drop-down arrow (right hand column of the interface) and access a category called MY FAVORITES at the bottom of the drop-down list.

This is designed for storing custom-designed menu templates for future use.

Have a look - I suspect this may meet your needs.

Hi Specialist....thanks for the response ( you too, elkfir). I saw the 'favorites' option. But I didn't see how to save the design - duh. The "add to menu template" button must have been a clue.

Thanks again. I like the program better now.
