  1. Does any one know how i can crop an m2v file ?.
    I have transfered a vhs tape to dvd format using my recorder and want to put black bars at the top and bottom to clean up the edges.I have tmpg plus but it doesnt recognize this file format when importing it . Even though it was tmpeg that created it ?.

    Did you select all files, or does TMPGEnc simply refuses to recognize the m2v file? I demuxed a clip from The Fellowship of the Ring, and TMPGEnc had no problems opening the .m2v file:



    So it should have no problem cropping it once it is loaded.

  3. it says unsuported format .
    i am using the wizard for pal low res dvd , it just wont import it ?
    i select all files but it wont suport the m2v format

    And in the Options-->Environmental setting-->VFAPI, does it show Direct Show Priority as the highest priority? If not, change it, so it does.

    ARe you using latest tmpgenc plus(2.520)??? It shold support mpeg2/m2v by default or else you must install a mpeg2 codec like powerdvd.

  8. Ive just updated to the new version and it now excepts m2v but wont axcept .ac3 ?

    You are supposed to save the aC3 file as a wave file, then use the wave file as audio input.

    Load the video into Virtual Dub MPEG-2 AC3 mod. Select File-->Save WAV...
