I'm looking for DVD authoring software that will do multiple audio streams.

I've been through the Tools section and it seems that the only ones that do support multiple streams are priced for the professional market i.e. $'00s

I've tried IFOEDIT but it seems to have a syncing problem in the current release.

    Any other suggestions?

  2. You can mux multiple streams into a vob in ifoedit and use them in dvdlab.

I'm not sure what you sync problem was, but if it's a delay, you can adjust this in ifoedit when you mux the files. (Author)

DVDLab has a 30 day trial. Should be enough time to see if it works for ya.

(Persnally, I reformat my hard drive every 30 days, because I'm too cheap to pay for software)

  3. Correct me if I'm wrong but I thought DVD Lab only allowed you to author with one audio track?

From the DVD-lab 1.15 Release Notes:
    - Tools- IFO Editor Audio settings- you can now easily change the audio settings in DVD-lab generated IFO's which for example enables using vobs with multiple audio streams
I believe the process is to mux 2 audio streams into a vob (with say ifoedit), import them into dvdlab (and don't let it demux), make the ifo, then edit it in DVDLab Tools-->IFO Editor, to set the audio stream attributes (like language & channels).

No menus to change tracks. You'd have to use the auido key on the remote.

  5. If you are using VOBs, then DVD-Lab will not touch the VOB and us it as is if you like, preserving the multi-audio embedded inside the VOB. If you import in an MPEG2 file, you can have DVD-Lab demux them(or VOBs for that matter) and have it work with the elementary streams. If you are working with elementary streams, then DVD-Lab will only support 1 audio track.

Example. I was backing up a movie that had 3 English audio tracks, all AC3. I took the VOB and demuxed in DVD-Lab. It split out the video and 3 separate audio files. When building the movie portion, DVD-Lab only allowed me to drag in 1 movie file and 1 audio file. Had I left the VOB alone and not demuxed, then I could have kept all 3 audio tracks.
