ok i ran dvd2svcd all night while i slept and i woke up and it was 1/2 done encoding but there is no sound in the file so i stopped the encoding
What im gonna do now is load the video file and audio file that DVD2SVCD created into TMPGEnc and do my converting
What i need to know is what should the video source be? and what should the audio source be?
can someone tell me if the below files are the correct ones i should load into TMPGEnc to do my converting
Video = DVD2AVI_PROJECT_FILE.d2v size = 397KB <----type of file D2V File
Audio = Encoded_audio_1.mp2 size = 133MB <----type of file Movie file (mpeg)

Hi. I have not used DVD2SVCD. I had problems with all-in-one programs before, so now I like to do ripping and encoding step by step.
a) Use smartripper to copy DVD (as movie) onto HDD
b) use DVD2AVI to frameserve the DVD rip.
--- the creats a .dv2 file (load as video) and a .wav file (load as audio) in TMPGEnc.
c) and encode using TMPGEnc
d) author and burn with Nero.
perfect rips.
hope this helps.
