    I have a 4 to 4 pin firewire cable and I'm looking for a desktop pci firewire card that will have a 4 pin port, but am having a hard time finding one--only finding 6 pin ports. Do they make these, and where could I find one?

    Thry don't, You have to get a 6 wire to 4 wire cable

    Not a big deal though, I think most of them come with a cable. Here is one at Best Buy that I found quickly.
