  1. Creating a DVD mpeg2 from divx or Xvid requires firstto demultiplex audio and video.
I use virtualdub to demultiplex audio and everything is okay.
The problem is when I convert divx to mpg and TMPGencoder multiplex audio and video data. I use the origianl divx video+audio file as video source and the wav demultiplexed audio as audi osource.
the resulting mpeg has not a very good quality sound compared to the original divx, the sound is slightly metallic.
What can I Do to fix it ?

    thank you

Look at using an external encoder to work with TMPGEnc. TooLame and SSRC are two that come to mind. After you have downloaded them and extracted them, Open TMPGEnc and select Options-->Emvironmental settings-->Audio. Use the Browse function to find the .exe file for the encoder you want to use. Check it and then it will function as the audio encoder the next time you encode.
    Hello.
