i have a mini practice amp n i wanna know if theres anyway to connect that to my stereo so i can record the ouput on tape.

Does it have a line out jack? If it does, just connect the line out from the amp to the line in of your stereo.

yes, but doing it might blow your stereo up.
take some alligator clips, wire them to a RCA jack.
attach the alligator clips to the wire lugs on the speaker. plug the RCA jack into an input jack on your stereo.
keep the volume very low.... you're feeding an amplified signal into an input that expects a line-level signal, so be careful.
or, get a microphone and plug that into your stereo...
or get a practice amp with a line-out jack. How about a headphone jack? If you have one, plug that into your stereo using the appropriate adapters and try that first... it's hotter than a line level signal, but not as hot as your regular speaker output...- housepig

The guitar output is mic level. If your stereo has a mic in, go down to radio shack and pick up the necessary guitar plug to whatever adapters and you should be ready to go.
