  1. Now that I have a whole list of files after I ripped and converted my DVD with DVD2SVCD how can I use them.
In the past I used Nero with the SVCD wizard and just dragged the mpeg files over to the project window then burned.
Can I use any of the other files DVD2SVCD created, chapter files etc.....with Nero?
    Thanks

DVD2SVCD should have created (depending on the size of your movie) 2 cue and bin files.

You can use CDRwin to burn these Cue/Bin files to CD-R.

Or if you want you can drag the mpeg's that it created into Nero and burn them as SVCD's.

Thats all you have to do.

  3. O.K.
So then most of the files are just part of DVD2SVCD creating the mpeg files.
I dont have any bin files but maybe I didnt use those setting in Nero.
    Here is my confusion.
I bought a Mintek DVD player that plays my svcds that I created with Nero from my mpeg files created my DVD2SVCD.
My Panasonic will not play svcds.
My Mintek works great but when I create the svcds with Nero I dont get and chapters or other neat things that a dvd would have.
I just thougth all the files DVD2SVCD created were of use for burning after creation.
Sorry about the newbie stuff but I am learning.
    Thanks

If DVD2SVCD didn't make the CUE/BIN files then it must be setup for not making CD Image, Nero does not make CUE/BIN files.

I think DVD2SVCD can make chapters and put them into the mpeg as part of the encoding process, although i haven't look into it.

There's an excellent guide over at www.doom9.org for beginners like yourself.

As well as FAQ and forum to DVD2SVCD.
