Hey all...
I have been using iuVCR to record TV shows off of my analog cable connection, and it has worked fine. But recently, after I record with iuVCR/PicVideo MJPEG (set at quality of 19), and try to open in TMPGenc+, it just takes forever to analyze the video. If it does at all, then it's impossible to browse for start and end frames to cut out the commercials.
I just did re-install iuVCR and the PicVideo drivers, and the problem still exists. And it happens the same way on 2 different machines with the same file.
Any input would be appreciated. TIA!

Under the "options" tab, make sure "avi compatability index" is checked. I had the same problem. It puts some kind of header into the avi that identifies what type of avi, etc.
I'm pretty sure that will solve your problem.
