  1. can anyone tell me if theyve had any problems playing back divx movies in mediaplayer? ive got several movie clips in divx format, and have divx 3.11 and divx5 installed but mediaplayer and the divx playa comes up with "media not supported" message. i have to reconvert to divx low or high motion using virtualdub to be able to view them- kinda frustrating! i was wondering if it was something to do with an automatic update i got from microsoft that's causing this?? i've never had any problems in the past, just in the last month or so. sorry if this is the wrong forum i've posted in.

  3. well are you sure the video's are divx. Just because they are AVI doesnt mean anything. It could be Xvid or something else.

Just a starting point, ill let somebody else elaborate.
