  1. Fluttering pixel block

I recorded a bunch of video clips using Power VCR II via my ASUS capture card ...the clips were perfect... looked great ....then all of a sudden a few weeks later a small 9 pixel block appeared fluttering around the picture of all of my power VCR clips? It happens with either windows media player or real player...However when I play any video clip I downloaded ...no fluttering pixels in any of the clips, only the clips I transferred using my VCR...to my computer with powerVCR and my capture card....can anybody help ?

  2. This sounds very much like you have the elecard mpeg 2 codec demo installed. Its likley the videos it doesn't appear on are mpeg-1. Un-unstall this codec and then install a demo (or full) version of power dvd or WinDVD. That should fix it.
