I'm in a somewhat difficult situation. My parents have invited me out on their boat for a BBQ lunch / get together. Anyway I asked one of my female friends to come out with me for the day.
This is were it gets difficult. She asked me if she could bring a friend (who I am also friends with) along. I stalled the decision till tomorrow morning but I need a polite way to say no to her.
Any ideas?
Cheers

Tell her the truth. If your parents said you can bring a friend, tell her that. If you want, you can also tell her you will make it up to your other friend later, and do so.

Thanks for the advice. I just hope she doesn't take it the wrong way.

That will be up to you. Make it a point that you hope she does not take it the wrong way. Make sure she knows how much you value the friendship. Something tells me you will also see how strong your friendship is. Real friendship have no problems withstanding this kind of situation.
