  1. I'm having some problems playing DVD-RW on my JVC XV-S60. Princo brand DVD-RW worked on my player, but after two re-writes the Princo was rendered useless (they're not cheap for nothin' eh?). I'm now trying to backup some of my DVD9 movies, and need some DVD-RW to test them on my standalone (that won't be useless after two burns). If anybody out there has this player, what brands of DVD-RW work for you?

Work - Princo (but princos are garbage in my experience)

    Don't Work - TDK DVD-RW

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

  2. I tried Imation, but the DVD-RW died after a couple of burns. My Pioneer A05 came with a 2x DVD-RW that I've been using almost everyday for the last month, erasing and rewriting. Still works great.

  4. Gotta find some help people! I have a new Optorite dd203 dual dvd writer and can't find a media that will play in my jvc xv-s60 progressive player. I have tried:
    Memorex -rw
    Memorex +rw
    Sony -rw
    Legacy -rw
The discs are not recogized. Burned by nero udf/1.02.
I want to use rw media to check my work before I do a permanent burn.
Optodisc -r seemed to work ok, but froze a couple of times

    Thanks!
