I would like to author DVD with audio in more than one language, and in stereo, don't mind if its MPEG layer 2, LPCM or AC3.
Is there a good and not too complicated way to it? wich software should I use? is there a guide for it?
    Thx

I'm afraid things are a bit tight here. DVDMaestro and Scenarist can do that easily, however you can't by the first one and don't want to buy the second.

DVDLab and Tmpgenc DVD Author are fine tools but DVDLab won't do multiple tracks and Tmpgenc (I think) can't either.

Reel DVD (I think) can handle multiple tracks, however it is perhaps better to wait for a month or so and buy Adobe Encore. The descriptions on the product and the specifications, along with the Adobe reputation, make it a very good investment (at least on paper).
The more I learn, the more I come to realize how little it is I know.

Thx, that is exactly what I was thinking.
I just hopes Encore meets expectations because from what I've seen both Sonic apps are rather complicated for me (and expensive).

  4. You can mux video and multiple audio tracks into a single vob using IFOEdit. DVD Authoring menu option.

Then import the vob into DVD-Lab. I have not done this, but it would be free to try (DVD-Lab has a free trial). Give it a try and let us know if it works. I've been meaning to test this.

I'm sure you'd have to use the remote key to change audio.

    JaCKaL-S:

Pinnacle's ImpressionDVD Pro can do multiple audio and subtitle tracks as well as 2 video angles. It has a fairly simple timeline metaphor layout. It is a little bit buggy, esp. with media management, but it can do what you're asking, and is somewhat affordable. ($200 US) I use it for alot of M.O.R. stuff (I use other things for low-end and hi-end). Works well with pre-formatted photoshop template type menus.

I am juiced about Encore though.

I did give a try with Impression Pro but I couln't figure how to do what I want, which should be quite easy.
I just wanted a main menu with controls, one to start the movie with the original audio and another to start it with a modified version of it, i.e. music added, level adjusted, etc. So I can decide to watch it as it was captured or the improved version.
I'm also eager to see if Encore will let me do this "easily"
    Thanks again to all.
