  1. Hi,

I've been using DVDShrink since it came out and I'm very satisfied with the results. Recently however it started giving me this error message:

    invalid nv_pck: nv_vobu_ea

I'm getting the message during the analyzing phase, sometimes during the encoding. Most of the time the program works fine I have this problem only with certain discs.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Cheers!

P.S. I'm getting this error with 1.03 and 2.2 versions.

  2. Are you using it with disks or with files?

Many using DVDShrink first use DVDDecrypter to get the files on the hard drive -- not only does this remove RCE protection (which DVDShrink does not) but it also makes multiple recoding tries much faster. You might try this and see if that doesn't solve the problem with those disks.

Upgrade to Ver 2.3 of DVD Shrink,it's much more stable. I find it's direct from disk doesn't work well. As the other poster said rip with DVD Decrypter first.

  4. Tried both ways. I get this problem only with certain discs /not dirty or scratched/. Most of the time the program works fine.
