I have a samsung worldwide video SV-5000V. Ok this thing is awesome, however when I watch NTSC source and NTSC video (I am in U.S), in other words regular setting for country my picture is twice as bright and contrasted than what is supposed to be (ok maybe I am exagurating but it should be about 40 % brighter and contrasted then normal > I usually change setting on my WinTV from 128 for contrast to about 80 (for about 50 digits down)).
However if I watch TV programing and set it to convert to PAL-M (whcih my tv card supports) the picture is actually NORMAL!.
So what could be wrong? Is this the way the VCR is supposed to work.
