I'm having an odd problem backing up Babylon 5. On season 2,disk 5 & 6 one chapter plays in slow motion on my computer. The ripped files also play in slow motion on the computer. They play normally on a standalone DVD player. Is this some new kind of copy prevention? Anyone else encountered this?? I have not yet actully burned the DVD-R because of this but I'm going to try and see if the copy plays normally.

I burned a DVD-RW and it plays normally in a standalone DVD player but in the computer one chapter plays in slow motion even from the original DVD.

I have backed up Babylon 5 myself and did not have any problems with it (I used clone dvd).
A while ago I did do backups of buffy season 5 using Pinnacle instant copy. When I tried to view the files on my computer it played it slo mo as you described but when I burnt the dvd it played fine.
Hope this helps.

ps.. I have never used a dvd-rw so i could'nt say about your second post.
