I was just reading a lot of different threads about XXXX media being bad and so on, so now I wonder if there is any program that I can use to check the quality of the surface of an DVD-R/+R and then save the info so that I can test the disk later on to see if there has been any change. I also want to see if there is any fast degrading of the dye on the media and then see if it is linked to any manufacture or dye.
And before anyone just say NERO CDSpeed, yes I have tried it but it can not do exactly what I want.
