All:
Lately in my VirtualDub capture a strange thing occurs - the frame size suddenly appears to go haywire. I am capturing at 720x480, 48 KHz, most of the time with no problems. Occasionally I get this strangeness when I view the cap (source is OK): Video is split, lower half is black, upper half contains the capture scrunched into half the frame size.
I tried cropping out the black and resizing the remainder back to 720x480 with decent results, but I would guess that I am losing half the resolution.
Any ideas on what is happening and how to fix?
Environment:
Source is Satellite (DirecTV)
W2K SP3
AIW 7500 (latest drivers)
VirtualDub

Drak
