  1. I wanted to convert a 2 part NTSC (23.976) Divx file with AC3 audio to PAL DVD-R, while preserving the AC3 audio. I joined the files in Vdub, changed the frame rate to 25 fps, and saved the Video only. I converted the video with CCE 2.5, no problems. I extracted the AC3 audio with Vdub and ran it through Besliced to check for errors, errors were found, but fixed. I used Besweet to change the AC3 audio rate to the equivelent of 25fps, which seemed to work. The files authored ok, and the DVD played fine, and in perfect sync on my PC, but not on my standalone. I have narrowed the problem down to Besweet, it is somehow making the AC3 audio unrecognisable by my standalone during the conversion. Has anyone had any succes converting AC3 from NTSC to PAL, is there any other program that will do the conversion or am i just using Besweet wrong?

Besweet is the worst AC3 encoder around. Use DVD Workshop AC3 or DVDit PE or SoftEncode to create your AC3 files.
I'm not online anymore. Ask BALDRICK, LORDSMURF or SATSTORM for help. PM's are ignored.
