DVD with subs and in original widescreen

I need to convert a imported DVD in its original widescreen and audio format with subtitles to AVI, DIVX or anything.

This way i can create a mixed demo clip using Premiere 6 for my customers.

Ive been looking all over and dunno where to start.

Used Flaskmpeg and cant seem to find where to select the subtitles to include.

Maybe i think i ripped the DVD wrong. I used smart ripper in movie mode and selected the audio language and the english subtitles.

Does anyone know how to go about this?
OR
Does anyone know where is a easy quick guide to do this?
