  1. HI. I am new to all of this. And I was wondering if there is anyway to change video size before burning a vcd so it will be fullscreen? For instance. Can I take a 320x240 and make it say 620x540 WITHOUT losing the quality. I am not worried about improving the quality. I just do not wanna lose it while making it bigger. But if there was a way to improve and enlarge I would be very grateful.

    Thanks

rumplestiltskin is my name ....... i can turn straw into gold but NO you cannot quadruple and then some the screen size and not loose quality. (draw a 320*240 box - now a 620*540 - about 1/4 the size ! )

Increasing the bitrate will help but why ?!

Consider first the source : VHS >= VCD, DVD >= SVCD
Next the display : Television = (x)VCD, or SVCD
of course DVD looks good on TV also but is overkill and best saved for a nice wide screen HDTV ..... hmmmmmmmmmmm
Your DVD player will automatically resize the *.dat (vcd) file to fit your TV.

A high bitrate [2500br] (X)VCD looks just fine on my rear projector !
    Consider that as an option.
