Will ADVC-100 capture Black and White

I Know the DAC-100 will not capture B+W because it depends on "color burst "

A: The DAC-100 is unable to convert a Black & White video signal because it
needs "color burst in the video stream". If you need to convert video
from a Black & White camera, please take a look at our DAC-2 converter
which can convert a black and white signal

Yes the ADVC-100 will capture Black & White. I am capturing the old Sea Hunt series and it works fine.
