I have a pixelview pro tv ultra capture card. When I try to capture video using virtualdub, I get no color. I am sure it is a driver problem, but I can't find any updated drivers for this card. The card has a conexant 2388x chipset. My computer has 2mb ram, an amd fx2 5300 cpu, 250 gb hard disk, so I don't believe I am light on power. My motherboard is a GigabyteM61P-S3.

I would appreciate any help . Thanks

Since I am in the USA, I have setup to use NTSC. I had color with this card, but then my computer blew up and I had to change almost everything. I had trouble before until I got spme oyher drivers. Now I can't locate any drivers to update with. When the card worked, it had a good picture, andcaptured all my cable stations with no problems.

If your PC 'blew up' it could have taken some of the circuitry of your capture card with it.

It didn't actually fry. One of the posts holding the cpu broke off, so I had to replace the board.cpu and memory.Th capture card worked with color before I did this.

you need the exact model number of the card, but there are drivers out there if you do a google search.

Most cards are format agnostic - that is, they will work with both PAL and NTSC. You may simply have not re-configured the card for NTSC when you re-installed it.

  8. You may simply have a video overlay problem. Play one of your caps in two media players at one time. Are they both black and white?
