I am planning to take a vacation, but don't want to bring my DVD collection with me.
Is there a way I can mount the actual DVD(s) on my harddrive (as perhaps a Drive letter) without my needing to bring my original DVD(s)?
I am not concerned on the harddrive space that this may take up.
Also, let me know if there are several programs that will do this.
Thanks!
Excelsior

Basically you need to rip, then mount. Check the ripping section on the left column of this page.

Did a search under "mount virtual drive", http://www.google.com/search?s=main&as_q=mount+virtual+drive&domains=www.dvdrhelp.com&...p.com&safe=off

Here is a guide
DVD Playback from your Harddisk
I like the "Alternative method". Much cleaner for playback. You just mount the new image and bingo, it's like you just put a dvd in.
