troubles with NEC ND-1300A

hi,

I have some troubles to burn DVD-R of the brand bulkpaq 4X certified with my NEC ND-1300A writer. I can burn DVD-RW so the hardware is good and the software I use is nero (5.5.10.35)....

do you have any idea of what I can do ??

Try using a different DVD-R brand and see if that makes a difference.

I don't think there is a firmware upgrade. Atleast I don't see one on the Cendyne site, (my ND-1300A is packaged by Cendyne.)

As far as media goes. I've had many problems w/ old Princo media, but have had 100% success with Maxell and Verbatium dvd-r's. I suggest getting quality media. I've never even heard of "bulkpaq" so that may be the problem. I hape you can return them wherever you got them.

elmostro: I do not think there is a firmware upgrade. He is talking about the NEC ND-1300A not a pioneer drive.
