  1. Hi everybody,

    I would like to know if my source footage is interlace or not. How can I know this ? (It's an avi file downloaded, so I don't know how it was captured)

    Thanks !

    AVI you downloaded? Probably not.
    Look in the TOOLS section. Should find something there.
    I'm not online anymore. Ask BALDRICK, LORDSMURF or SATSTORM for help. PM's are ignored.

    AVI of what? Someone's home movie, a camcorder capture of a theatrical release, or a DVD to AVI rip of a commercial DVD?

    You could create an .AVS script and load it into VirtualDub, then step through the frames to check for the interlaced lines.

    For example,

    AVISOURCE=("C:\THE FILE I DLed.AVI")

    should work just fine (but I haven't tried it!).
