    1. The sum is too large (over 4.4 GB)
    2. You will have to make them to a compliant VIDEO_TS folder first, then have dvd2one rebuild them as a 4.4 GB VIDEO_TS fodler.

I only know one way at the moment and it requires Virtual PC and an app called IFO EDIT.

If you have all this, you open IFO EDIT, click CREATE IFO and select the first .vob (all of them have to be in the same folder!) and that folder must be shared with VPC as a shared folder.
When CREATE IFO is done, you will have VIDEO_TS.ifo/.bup and VTS_01_01.ifo/.bup
(Make sure all the .vob's are named VTS_01_01.vob, VTS_01_02.vob....and so on)

Technically, when this is done, you are to click GET VTS SECTOR, after CREATE IFO is done, but for me *(so far) CREATE IFO seems to make a compliant dvd that apple dvd player can make.

SO now, you woudl open DVD2ONE and select your VIDEO_TS folder that you just made the .ifo/.bup files for and scale it down to 4444mb, movie only.

I have only gone to the making of .ifo/.bup files and having it play fine in apple dvd player app. have not had time to go further, but it should work!

    have fun

  3. i have a bunch of VOB's that i ripped directly to my hardrive totalling under 4.4 gigs and can fit onto one DVD-R. I copied everything from the disc onto my hard drive including the iso files and i want to make a copy of the dvd. this was before i knew that osex had the ability to make straight image files, but it's too late now. what do i do with all these files to make a copy of that dvd?

DVD2One is also available for OS X. Visit www.dvd2one.com. It costs money, but will work allot better than dragging out VirtualPC and a pc application. On the mac that is your best bet, unless you feel like stripping out the streams and reauthoring the dvd.

if you left the NAV packs in the VOBs when you ripped them (it's an option in the OSEx ripper), you can use a free app called Sizzle that will take the VOBs and make a DVD image for you which you can burn with Toast.
